Color
Beautiful, isn’t it? I mean, the Color.
So vivid, beautiful... colorful.
I was thinking about how important color is in our lives, and how little importance we actually give it.
Imagine if everything were brown like shit hahahah everything would smell like feces. Because the color influences more than just the sense of sight. Just think about how cooked ham is gray and is made pink to trick the palate, but the taste is always the same.
I like colors because they influence how we see the world.
Even the darkest place, colored by the sun's rays, can become a welcoming home.
I’ll expose myself, I’m not a politician after all.
Yellow = the most beautiful color in the world. Or at least, in my world.
I like yellow because it lights up, shines, makes everything more... yellow.
Rightfully so.
I also like noticing how color can deceive. The gray scale would scream plagiarism at this statement of mine, but my lawyers are already on it (🤖).
The eye is drawn to what it wants more than our awareness is. The sense of sight is what channels human action the most: it helps us, guides us, but it can deceive. That’s why there are other senses.
Like St. Thomas, humanity doesn’t believe unless it sees.
Some say that what’s essential is invisible to the eye.
It depends on what eyes you’re using to see. Are we sure we only have two? And when you close your eyes, with which "eyes" do you see what you visualize? And dreams?
When I think of these things, my mind sees Mister Tafazzi hitting his private parts with a bottle. As if the soul were telling me not to care.
You are here, live here.
Spending too much time theorizing is like Giacomino hammering his own scrotum.
Probably, the important thing is to keep your feet on the ground. And see things with your own will.
It’s not just sight that deceives: Everything that we allow to influence us can create a subjective view of things, bending images to our perception, turning facts into reality. Anna would say, “You sing it and play it yourself.”
So then, what do I do with color?
